From the Studio, mixed chalk
Inspired by an Ivon Hitchens painting, I have recently been exploring the notion of being inside looking out/outside looking in/and being unsure about where the boundaries are. Using my studio space to work from, I have a view of rooftops in Shepherds Bush in London. A very densely populated part of the city and the architecture and buildings are varied. Old, new, traditional, grand, humble.
